"Faith Formation is more than a subject to be taught, it is an invitation to a way of life!" ~Joe Paprocki
Faith Formation, formerly known as CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) is the name given to the process of religious and spiritual education of children attending public school. The purpose is to assist parents in their role as the primary religious educators in guiding their children to God. Great reliance is put upon the home to nurture the seeds of faith instilled in class in living out what is taught. This is not an easy mandate, but if ever parents are called to be attentive to the spiritual needs of their children it is now in this age when the very need for God is almost negated. Faith Formation promotes and encourages in a special way weekly participation at Sunday Mass. Aside from the regular Sunday Mass, there will also be a Children's Mass on the following Sundays at 9:30 a.m.: Sept.29, Oct. 13, Oct. 27. Nov. 10, Dec.1 and Dec. 15th.

To all of those who volunteer their time to teach the children, a very special thank you goes out to you. We would not be able to have our Faith Formation program if it weren't for all of you. Next time you're in class, make sure you thank your teacher! Also another thank you goes out to our Religious Education Director, Mrs. Shari Schultz and her assistant, Mrs. Mary Lee Gage, for working tirelessly at preparing everything for the 2019-2020 school year. In closing here is a beautiful prayer for all our Catechists:
