33 Days to Morning Glory

A DO-IT-YOURSELF RETREAT

Join us on October 19, 2019, as we begin a 33-day preparation for Marian Consecration. Each day we’ll individually follow four great Marian giants: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, Blessed Mother Teresa, and Pope John Paul II. They’ll teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary. In our weekly meetings, Mondays, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18 at 7:30 pm, in the Church Hall we’ll share our insights within our small group and then watch a 30- minute video. The video by popular author and speaker, Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, brings our individual reflections and group experience into a clear and live-able focus. If you want to transform your relationship with Christ, this is a perfect way to do so. For more information, please contact Damian Rigatti at [email protected]

Author, Fr. Michael E. Gaitley says, "I wrote this book for one main reason, Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary, truly is the surest, easiest, shortest and the most perfect means to becoming a saint and there should be an easy and updated way to dive in to such a blessing." "Don't get discouraged if you should miss a day (or days) of the readings and prayers, if this should happen, we shouldn't quit, instead simply read the text for the days missed as soon as you can and keep going with the retreat!"

If you've already signed up, the books will be handed out after Mass on Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th. Make sure you give your email address to a member of the 33 Days of Morning Glory group so you can receive the daily email reflection. You may also pick up your book at the  Parish Office.

The (4) meetings will consist of a greeting, watching a DVD, reflection, and sharing your thoughts. The meetings begin at 7:30 pm in the Church Hall. If you can't make it to a meeting, that is perfectly fine, please continue with the daily readings. The Consecration to Mary will take place on Thursday, November 21st at the 7 pm Mass.

"One of the best ways to console Jesus is to give yourself to Mary."

~ Father Michael E. Gaitley
